If you follow me on FACEBOOK, you get first dibs on sneak peeks, insider tips…and, often, ridiculous photos of me in action! Being a wedding photographer is a physically demanding job – I have to stretch before hand (or suffer the consequences!), and relax for a day after….
Actually…I usually forget to stretch (exhibit a: sprained knee 3 times) and am often shooting weddings back-to-back. Whoops! 🙂
ANY-way, I do love my job, even though I collapse into a heap after 12 hours of it. 🙂 Being called a “ninja” while I’m working helps too! This year I shot 34 days of weddings – that’s a lotta love going on! What a pleasure, and what a privilege – I can’t thank my brides and grooms enough!

Cloudy days are nature’s softbox – what a perfect day for Kris and Katie!

Hiroko and Mike got a MONSOON for their wedding. That shot list? It was ziplocked and in an inner compartment of my waterpoof bag! It must have rained about a foot that day – and all in my gear bags! Thank goodness for waterproof gear!
This lens weighs about the same as my toddler…

The SOCK BUN! Have you tried it yet? So EASY – it was my go-to hairstyle on rainy weddings this year!.jpg)
What a fantastic surprise for Michelle – Brian choreographed a flash mob to perform during their reception!.jpg)
I love taking epic “Tree shots” – so I get REALLY excited when I see spaces like these!

Coralling a bunch of frat brothers for a group picture – could be difficult – but I go way back with these boys… I even married one of them! 🙂.jpg)
Phew! WHAT a YEAR! 🙂
