Being a Wedding Photographer

I can do an updo in a pinch.

I am usually the only person in any given building who knows how to put on a boutonniere.

I carry hundred pound loads for hours without complaining. Okay, minimal complaining. 😉

I have a master song list in my head that will get any party rocking.

I have mastered the Martha Stewart ‘perfect bow’ and can tie a sash like a ninja.

I jump around, spend half my day squatting or climbing furniture.

I willingly embarrass myself in front of large groups of people in order to get a natural smile, a laugh.

I’m a counsellor, a confidant, a coach, your biggest fan.

I’m a business woman, and an artist at the same time.

I’m a wedding photographer.

Ever wonder what it’s like being a wedding photographer?   Jacqui Bruniquel has a GREAT article on what my job REALLY entails!
