Danielle and Brooks are two of the most caring people I have ever met, and it was such a joy working with them to bring their engagement session vision to life.
The entire session was designed around an old photograph of Brooks’ grandparents in the 1940’s/50’s – a photograph of them outdoors, picnicking together at sunset, completely and utterly in love….and drinking from glass Coca Cola bottles!
I think we succeeded in not only honouring that heirloom image, but in creating memories and images to showcase Danielle and Brooks’ love for each other.
…Who knows – maybe their grandchildren will continue this photographic tradition one day! 🙂
From the bride-to-be: What I love most about Brooks:He loves me unconditionally, selflessly.
When I first met him, he just had this calm air to him, can’t really explain it. (And those eyes and seriously long lashes…. can I say jealous!).
I can’t wait to see Brooks all dressed up in his kilt standing at the end of the aisle, saying our vows with our families surrounding us.
From the groom-to-be: What I love most about Danielle: I don’t have just one favorite thing.
I love the way her smile makes her eyes squint a bit and shine.
I love how her hair changes all the time.
I love that she is adventurous like me and she is willing to try anything (except seafood unfortunately) with an open mind.
She is fearless.
She is loving and takes such good care of me. And she makes fantastic cookies. This is just a few of the number ones.Danielle and Brooks, I had THE BEST time photographing you two and your love. Thanks again for choosing me – I can’t wait to photograph your wedding! 🙂
