How do we reserve a session?
What forms of payment to you accept?
Start by filling out the contact form. If space is available around your due date, you’ll receive a booking link to select your session and package. Maternity clients will receive available dates by email.
A $50 non-refundable booking fee and signed contract are required to book each session. Payments can be made by e-transfer or credit card, with the final balance due 30 days before your session
Can I book a maternity, milestone, or cake smash session alone?
No, sorry. Due to limited availability we reserve these sessions only for our newborn bundle clients. They are not available otherwise.
How do we schedule the newborn session when we don't know when baby will be born?
I’ll mark your due date on my calendar and stay flexible—babies rarely arrive on schedule!
Once baby arrives, send me a message within 48 hours so we can find the perfect session date.
Newborn sessions can be held up to 6 weeks after birth, so even if you need extra time at home or baby was in the NICU, we can still capture these precious moments.
Where is your studio and when is it open?
Sessions are held Monday through Friday mornings at our Langley studio (Willoughby).
The studio is a cozy, private space in Langley, about 30 minutes from Vancouver. Exact details are provided to clients once a session is booked, and I welcome families from across the Lower Mainland.
Can you come to our home instead?
No, sorry. All newborn and baby sessions take place in my cosy studio, where I have everything needed for a calm, comfortable session. My lighting, props, and backdrops are set up specifically for the space and aren’t portable.
Many parents relax on the couch or in the nursing room while I work. As a mother myself, I’ll keep your baby safe, settled, and cared for—so you can enjoy the experience knowing they’re in good hands.
What do you provide for newborn sessions?
The studio includes everything you need for a relaxed visit—changing table, private bathroom, diapers, blankets, sibling toys, and more. I provide all of baby’s wraps, outfits, headbands, and props, so you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience.
I also offer a selection of postpartum-friendly gowns for mamas to borrow during their session.
Can I bring my pet?
My studio is a pet-free space. This helps protect against allergies and meets insurance requirements—thank you for understanding!
What if baby had to stay in the NICU?
We can still create beautiful images to celebrate your baby’s arrival. Posed, swaddled sessions work best within the first four weeks, while older newborns are photographed in a more relaxed, lifestyle style—often awake, with open eyes and sweet moments of connection with their parents.
Do you photograph multiples?
No, I am only able to photograph one baby at a time. Working solo allows me to focus completely on your newborn’s safety and comfort, giving each baby the calm, attentive care they deserve. I am happy to recommend other photographers who work as a team and are better suited to twins or triplet photography.
Do you do hair and makeup?
I don’t provide hair and makeup myself, but I’m happy to share a list of trusted, talented artists I recommend to help you feel your best for the session.
Can I come try dresses in advance?
I don’t offer in-person fittings before the session, but you can use my online sizing guide and gown selection tool to choose pieces in advance. You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits, and I provide in-person guidance and gentle clamping at your session for a perfect fit.
Will you share our photos online?
Every family has different comfort levels when it comes to sharing images.
For this reason, we offer several image-sharing options — from standard portfolio use to complete confidentiality.
Client and baby names are never shared.
How do you keep the studio safe for new babies?
Your safety is my top priority. The studio is spacious, thoroughly cleaned, and ventilated before and after each session. Hand washing, masks, gloves, and private spaces for parents help keep everyone safe, and only people being photographed may attend. Retainers are required to book, and in the event of a government-mandated closure, they can be transferred to a future session.

Does our package include retouching?
Maternity: Every image receives gentle retouching for a natural, beautiful result. My goal is to highlight your best features while keeping you comfortable in flattering poses. Extensive edits, like reshaping or changing body size, aren’t included but can be added for an extra fee.
Baby: Every image receives gentle, natural retouching to even skin tones and minimize flakiness. If you’d like any specific marks removed—like birthmarks or stork bites—please let me know in advance.
Do we get to choose our images?
When do we receive our finished images?
Yes. Your session includes a same-day, in-person image selection where you’ll choose your favourite photos and may purchase additional images or albums if you wish. Your selected images are professionally edited and delivered within 2-4 weeks as high-resolution digital downloads.
Please note: we do not sell or giveaway RAW (unedited) files.
