At our Langley studio, we do birthday celebrations differently. Instead of elaborate themed cake smashes, we offer Simplicity cake smashes — a clean, white-on-white approach that keeps the environment calm and helps capture sweet, timeless images to mark your baby’s first milestone.
NEW! Ladder Setup for Standing Babies
For babies who can stand or cruise, we sometimes include a simple ladder decorated with greenery or florals for one or two photos—not the full cake smash. It coordinates with the newborn session for a subtle “before-and-after” connection—and gently reminds us just how fast that first year flies!

Can I book a maternity, milestone, or cake smash session alone?
No, sorry. Due to limited availability we reserve these sessions only for our newborn bundle clients. They are not available otherwise.
Do you supply the cake?
No, for allergy reasons I do not provide cake. I am happy to share recommended bakers, sizing, and styles for your baby's treat.
Do we get to choose our images?
When do we receive our finished images?
Yes. Your session includes a same-day, in-person image selection where you’ll choose your favourite photos and may purchase additional images or albums if you wish. Your selected images are professionally edited and delivered within 2-4 weeks as high-resolution digital downloads.
Please note: we do not sell or giveaway RAW (unedited) files.
Where is your studio and when is it open?
Sessions are held Monday through Friday mornings at our Langley studio (Willoughby).
The studio is a cozy, private space in Langley, about 30 minutes from Vancouver. Exact details are provided to clients once a session is booked, and I welcome families from across the Lower Mainland.
Will you share our photos online?
Every family has different comfort levels when it comes to sharing images.
For this reason, we offer several image-sharing options — from standard portfolio use to complete confidentiality.
Client and baby names are never shared.
Do you photograph multiples?
No, I am only able to photograph one baby at a time. Working solo allows me to focus completely on your newborn’s safety and comfort, giving each baby the calm, attentive care they deserve. I am happy to recommend other photographers who work as a team and are better suited to twins or triplet photography.
