When it was time for the wedding party portraits, Lyndsay London and I had a BLAST photographing Rob, Chelsey, and their ultra spunky group. Did I just say “spunky”? 🙂
As second shooter, I grabbed alternative angles, and when one group was busy with Lyndsay, I’d often pose the rest. Time efficient AND it keeps the momentum going because no one is standing around waiting for their turn. Lyndsay and I work exceptionally well together – so that helps, too! 🙂
Kudos to Lyndsay for the pose above – very Anna Karenina. But with a happier ending! 😉
Y’all know how much I love colour, right? Rob and Chelsey picked Fort Langley for their portraits, and it was an awesome location for the fun, peppy shots they were looking for. Fort Langley is my stomping ground (see: all fall family shoots, lol), so Lyndsay and I put our heads together for some creative locations, and Rob and Chelsey just went with the flow!
Brides: trust your photographer. 😉
Family portraits were taken on the grounds of the Langley Golf & Banquet Centre – the weeping willow tree was the same one that’s in the background of the ceremony images – just on the other side of the hedge!
While Lyndsay focused on the action (family portraits), I capture the reaction of the family members waiting their turn. Can’t you just feel the joy? 🙂
Gosh. Have you ever seen such a beautiful bride?
I love these images. In the middle one of the trio, Chelsey’s mom is whispering to her daughter:
“you are the most beautiful bride I have EVER seen.”
The wedding reception was held in the ballroom at the Langley Golf & Banquet Centre.
When I saw those gel-beads in the centerpieces, my brain went “ping!” I’m quirky like that:
An wedding blessing for you both:
May you always have enough happiness to keep you sweet,
trials to keep you strong,
success to make you eager,
friends to give you comfort,
wealth to meet your needs,
enthusiasm to look for tomorrow,
and a growing love to make each day better than the day before.
Congratulations, Rob + Chelsey!
