Rainy Vancouver Wedding | Photography at Chateau Cargill | Sarah + Chris

It was a dark, rainy, blustery kind of morning, but inside the hotel, smiles were bright.  We could see the ocean waves from the window – white-capped and turbulent. What a day – and what a wedding!

Sarah and Chris’ wedding was held at the Chateau Cargill in White Rock, B.C.  Their daughter was the flower girl, and her spirit, along with that of the wedding party and the happy bride and groom, made the day infectiously joyful.  It was my pleasure and privilege being their wedding photographer!

I love it when brides carefully plan their day down to the smallest detail. ♥  This navy, hot pink, grey, and white colour scheme is so preppy and fresh!Isn’t she GORGEOUS??Sarah and Chris had a Marvel Comics Avengers theme…their toddler daughter carried the rings down in an Avengers lunch box! There was approximately 3 feet square of covered (DRY!) path on either side of this tree. That was IT for the entire property!  Sarah and Chris rocked that 3 feet! 🙂A wedding blessing:

May your joys be as deep as the Ocean, and your troubles as light as its foam.

May your love be modern enough to survive the times and old-fashioned enough to last forever!
