Redwoods | Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Danielle + Brooks

Their Victorian-inspired wedding took place on a sweltering hot August day in Redwoods Park. Danielle and Brooks were married under a giant Oak tree, surrounded by their friends and family.  They drove into their Kings Community church reception in a restored 1928 Model A, and danced the night away (well, the men in kilts did!)

In a nod to his ancestry, Brooks and his groomsmen all wore Scottish kilts! This was their idea… 😉Danielle and Brooks’ wedding ceremony was held in Redwoods Park, under a giant oak tree.

Redwoods Park was created by two twin brother who loved trees so much that they gathered seeds from around the world and grew and amazing forest – right in Langley!

A celtic hand-fasting (tying) ceremony literally joined Danielle and Brooks together.

Lavendar seed send-off!Yes, that’s a knife.A family friend lent the happy couple a 1928 Model “A” – I got to ride in the rumble seat – that little box in the back ! Danielle and Brooks put a lot of effort into finding just the right antiques with which to decorate their reception.Piano bar! How COOL is THAT?

Loved the thistles!Men in kilts, kilts, kilts…Danielle and Brooks, it was a pleasure and a privilege being your wedding photographer. Thank you so much.
