Shannon and Josh love the outdoors, so it was only natural that we held their engagement outside on a beautiful summer day.
At sunset. Two beautiful people. In love.
I AM SO SPOILED. 🙂
Their engagement session was held in the same park where Josh proposed!
Shannon and Josh have been together for nine years – they’ve been friends since grade seven, and even were each other’s prom dates, but love blossomed slowly – and has withstood two long-distance times. I’m impressed. 🙂
Josh made a bouquet for Shannon – love the blue hydrangeas!
Josh loves Shannon’s fun-loving and bubbly personality. If she were in a room, consider it LIT UP.
As much as I love creating ultra-frameable portraits, I really love capturing couples being themselves! ♥This next one is an ultimate favourite…..please. guys, make this a CANVAS!!
If you don’t, I will (but my husband might be weirded out when I put it up over the mantel…;) )Josh proposed to Shannon with a hidden geocache in the park – she was completely surprised and started crying when she pulled out the box (covered in pictures of her), and then turned around to discover Josh on one knee, down in the snow with a ring and a “will you marry me?” on his smiling lips.
“Looking back, I don‟t know how he did it. He was so cool, calm and collected that morning and all during the walk. And he’d had the ring the whole time!!! I love him for giving me that moment and putting this all together on his own. The single most romantic day of my life ever.”Shannon loves Josh’s sense of humor… it was the first thing she noticed when they met back in grade seven:
“I remember Josh and his friends being extremely silly and really funny – the type of humour that makes it hard to stop laughing once you’ve started!”Shannon and Josh – ENGAGED!
