Celebration Pavilion + Westwood Plateau Wedding | Amy + Kevin

Amy and Kevin were married on a beautiful cloudy day in July, and it was my pleasure to photograph their Celebration Pavilion and Westwood Plateau wedding.

Amy’s family came out from Hong Kong, so it was doubly special, and I can’t help but wish these two every happiness.

Double happiness. 🙂

Amy and her visiting family got ready at the house of a dear friend and groomsmen. I know his hospitality was much appreciated!

Amy’s bridesmaids were a perfect team and helped keep things running smoothly.

Good thing Kevin had such a great group of guys to help him get ready…

I think anthropologists call this “social grooming” 😉Well, hello…kitty!Amy and Kevin honoured their relatives with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony on the morning of their wedding.Amy and Kevin’s wedding ceremony was held at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park.  It’s a great space, and I enjoy shooting there!

I’m always sensitive and considerate to the wishes of my couples – and their families – so I was more than happy to provide some stunning, classic portraiture for Amy and Kevin….

…but that didn’t mean we didn’t have fun in the process!Aren’t these gorgeous?!I love capturing those happy, telling glances between a newly married couple. “Can you believe it? We’re married!”Lovely.Amy was such a classic and beautiful bride!Canvas, pretty please! 🙂Have a request for a certain pose? It’s YOUR wedding day – so I’m always game! 🙂I’m so in love with these. There’s a dozen more to this series, but I had to narrow it down… 🙂FAVOURITE!Amy and Kevin’s wedding reception was held at Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam, B.C.

The food was INCREDIBLE, and Amy’s “Precious Moments” theme was carried out, even to the centerpieces and favours!

Amy’s bridesmaids orchestrated some funny (and embarrassing – for Kevin, at least!) games…Isn’t she adorable?! She’s like a powder pink confection!

I told Amy that if my 2 year old was there, she’d bestow upon her the HIGHEST toddler compliment: “Cin-da-wa-wa!” 🙂Precious Moments topper!

In our pre-wedding consultation meeting, Kevin and Amy revealed that they were really nervous about their first dance…

Ladies and gentlemen, these are not professional dancers… at least, I didn’t think so BEFORE their wedding day! 😉

Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer – it was my pleasure and privilege!
