Razel and Francis were married on a sweltering hot day in July, at Our Lady of the Mountains and the Whistler Golf Course in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia.

Razel chose vibrant colours for her wedding: tangerine tango and electric blue. Very summery!
Both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen got ready at the Tantalus Lodge in Whistler. Like anything in Whistler, it was very alpine/cabin-y!
Love this!Razel looked incredible!Francis (Kiko) had lots of help getting ready. So handsome!Razel and Francis’ wedding ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church in Whistler, B.C.
The happy couple originally met at a youth conference, where Francis was in the band. The original band reunited and played for the ceremony – SO SWEET!
Kiss and a ‘good luck’ from Daddy!Everyone had a fan or program or book or neighbor’s hand to fan themselves with – it was HOT that day! 🙂Razel and Francis were connected by a ceremonial cord…Unity candle…
Aren’t they adorable?!I have to give mad props to Razel, Francis and their terrific wedding party, because it was HOT. Is there an echo in here? Mad hot. By the time the evening reception rolled around and I had a chance to check the temperature, it was still in the mid thirties (almost 100F for my American readers) and muggy-humid.
I gave a pep talk to the crew at the beginning and warned them that we were going to go SUPER fast so that no one passed out or developed heat stroke (the guys were wearing four layers! yikes!), and we finished their portraits with almost two hours to spare! Woot!
So yeah – huge claps for these guys. Focused, friendly, and ridiculously good looking. 😉
An aunt (I believe) made all of the flowers. WOW. Fantastic job!I hope you have lots of babies and grandbabies who will love this classic portrait as much as I do!Favourite! So lovely. The wedding reception was held at the Whistler Golf Course in Whistler, B.C.The favors were delicious cookies – yum! – and the boxes were decorated with custom guitar picks!I loved this idea – the M.C. (who was awesome by the way), interviewed the parents and aunties and uncles and asked them “what makes a good marriage?”
Favourite answer: “Sex. Lots and lots of sex”
Love this!Nothing like wearing your new wedding ring and letting it all sink in… =)
Richard made literally the BEST WEDDING VIDEO ever. I was laughing until tears were streaming down my face – and everyone else was, too! See it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxEvrU9wybk
In a Phillipino wedding tradition called “the money dance,” guests donate money to the bride and groom in exchange for a dance with the person of their choice… It can get kinda silly… 🙂What a great wedding! Razel and Francis, thank you so much for including me in your special day and for choosing me as your wedding photographer! ♥
