Why Maternity Photos are Important

Pregnancy, for many, is a time of celebration. Anticipation. What will baby look like? What will our lives look like? How can I love someone I’ve never met, so very much?

Maternity photography captures this moment of time, the brink of an amazing adventure, and preserves it for your memory, and for baby in the future as well. I don’t think anyone advertises pregnancy as easy – but I do hear, over and over, about how mamas miss it when baby arrives. I also hear from second time mamas how sad they are that they didn’t get maternity photos with their first. It’s amazing how pregnancy can (often) be so difficult, but still leave you with an acute longing when it’s over.
